Students dig in for Little Italy Restoration Project

Kids get stuck in to plant trees and keep our water clean
Over 50 students from Dayboro Primary School helped plant over 300 trees near North Pine Dam, contributing to a total of more than 16,000 native trees over an area the size of Brisbane’s Botanical Gardens.

$2,000 research bursary in river restoration awarded to Griffith University student

Landholders welcomed to explore Land for Wildlife properties
During the month of May, a variety of Land for Wildlife properties across the region opened up their gates to other Land for Wildlife members in order to share knowledge, experiences and celebrate this vibrant, voluntary conservation program.

Waterway restoration underway across SEQ
Six waterways across South East Queensland will see improved catchment management. Waterways include restoration of a canal,the Brisbane river and local creeks, improving water quality and local ecosystems, thanks to funding from the Queensland Government. Read more…

Healthy Waterways Awards finalists announced
Support the Healthy Waterways Awards finalist that you believe is the most outstanding by voting now in the People’s Choice Award. Voting closes 5pm Monday 9th June.
